This outdoor kitchen that I found in Acapulco signifies endurance in so many ways.  Tolerance of the smoke in your eyes.  Patience as you attempted to control the cooking heat.  I wouldn’t trade my kitchen any day.  I found this kitchen to be fascinating yet archaic. The original picture was taken at the Cabin Called Ironworks in the early morning just after a light overnight rain.  This rain was more pleasant that the previous downpours we had been experiencing in and around Prescott, Arizona.  I loved how the drops lingered on the edge of the pine branches and formed minute globes of reflective light. One of my first trips to Europe was exploring Switzerland with two of my best friends, R&M. They are Swiss born and took us to several fantastic locations, one being the Bernese Alps. This picture was taken from the summit as we were waiting for another cablecar to take our trip back down from the overlook to the village below .  We were very lucky that it was a clearer than normal day and the Schilthorn Eiger peak was quite visible.  I think it’s Eiger from looking at other images.  Let me know if I need corrected. 🙂 A little information about the Schilthorn fromRead More →
