WPC: Room to Roam

From the National Bison Range in Big Sky Montana the views are spectacular and offer a sense of vastness and room abounding.  I saw this winding river valley with its lush fields being watered in the foreground.  I don’t remember the river as there are many coming from lakes and reserves surrounding the Bison Range.  The area of land was so vast that there was no room left in the frame to show the Big Sky.

  1. This is a stunning photo! The complexity of lighting and landscapes that overlap each other is breath-taking. I’m so glad you shared this one!

    1. Thanks so much. It was a great ending to our adventures at the Bison Range.

  2. National Geographic style.

    1. Thanks for the wonderful feedback. 🙂

  3. At first I thought the sky WAS in the background, but when I looked more closely and then read your post, it was a wow moment! Wow, as you said, over the vastness of the range. Just gorgeous. Someday I’d love to get a chance to see this first hand 🙂

    1. Hi Stacy. Hope you can make it there. It is such a beautiful area of our country and is as “Big Sky” as you can ever imagine. The shear beauty of the world amazes me. Everywhere I visit there is a painting in front of me to enjoy.
